Organs

Hi All, in this day of electric pianos and advanced keyboards it is sometimes nice to go back to basics.

I started my musical career having organ lessons at Fox’s in Victoria Centre on a Thursday evening, back in the early 1980’s. Being able to play with two hands and your feet takes a bit of doing but is very rewarding.

The sound of the organ can be soft and subtle using the Tibia or Flute settings, or can be bold and powerful by pulling out all the stops!

Although almost all keyboard instruments have organ sounds on them there is nothing quite like sitting at an organ and ‘playing properly’.

If you fancy re-living those good old organ days, you don’t have to break the bank to do so. I have in the shop a few golden oldies, for example a lovely Technics E11L small and compact in mahogany finish for only £150. I also have a Roland Atelier 10s for £299, again not very big but sounds delightful. For the more adventurous I have a top-of-the-range Technics G100 this was £13,000 when new but can be yours for just £1499.

Please feel free to come and try any of these beautiful instruments, or call me on 0115 9795919 for further information.

Happy Playing

Sean
